MALAYSIA will host the region’s first major international expo and symposium on the innovations and technologies in the digital transformation of the water and wastewater from 19-21 November 2024 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur. The digitalization of the water industry will gain traction as the roll out of 5G services will deliver real-time data through emerging technologies including IoT, drones, AI, Big Data and VR/AR. Water and wastewater treatment equipment will move towards remote sensing technologies to improve efficiency, quality, maintenance and service delivery.
